Halloween Prep

We've been busy this week working on our Halloween activities. We mixed yellow and red to make orange for our pumpkins and then we added silly faces.

 

We are unique!

Last week we spent some time working on our self-portraits and painting our rocks as part of our school "Il n'y en pas deux comme toi!" campaign.

Halloween Songs

We are getting right into the Halloween swing!  We learned about a cool song called 'C'est l'halloween' by Matt Maxwell.  I am posting it here so that you and your child can listen to it together at home.




We also acted out the following song in a dark corner of our classroom.  The kids really enjoyed it.

Names and Fine Motor

Last week we did some tearing and gluing to decorate our names. They look awesome! Tearing paper is a really good way for little writers to strengthen the muscles in their hands.
